Tidbits from Bruce….

We have the ability to get anything you need from any vendor – here are some tidbits from some of them……….

Lacie Thunderbolt 2:  LaCie unveiled three new and updated Thunderbolt 2 storage solutions.  The 8big Rack, 5big and 2big geared towards 4K video editing and other professional media uses.

AJA CION*: 4K/UHD and 2K/HD production camera that records directly to Apple ProRes 422 and 444 at up to 4K 60fps or output AJA Raw at up to 4K 120fp. Ergonomic design and open connectivity for ultimate flexibility in the studio or out in the field.

Blackmagic Studio Camera:  Small broadcast camera with large viewfinder.  Available in HD and Ultra HD models.  Designed for live production.

Blackmagic URSA: 4K digital film camera. Large user upgradeable Super 35 global shutter 4K image sensor, 12G-SDI and internal dual RAW and ProRes recorders. EF or PL lens mounts, or even a broadcast video sensor with B4 mount.

JVC GYHM850/GYHM890:  Shoulder-mount camcorders, interchangeable Fujinon 20x autofocus zoom lens,  full HD image capture and delivery, built-in streaming engine.

Panasonic AJPX270: Low bit rate AVC-ULTRA recording and the flexibility of a 3G/4G/LTE Wireless mobility. Newly-developed high-sensitivity, low-noise 1/3 type 3MOS imagers.

Sony F5/F55 Updates:  F5 users will have the ability to upgrade their camera to the F55. The F5 and F55 will be able to record ProRes and DNxHD compression codecs within the cameras. Also there is a new lens adapter that allows the user to use B4 lens with only 1 f-stop loss, more shoulder mount usability, new cine S-Logs, and much more.
